On the 10th anniversary of Gazeta dla Lekarzy, "K2 Laurels" were awarded in recognition of merits for the entire cooperation with particular emphasis on the sections listed below:
dr Alicja Barwicka (Warsaw) - for a series of articles on ophthalmology
dr Beata Niedźwiedzka (London) - for a series of articles on artificial intelligence
dr Małgorzata Zarachowicz (Warsaw) - for a series of articles "Serial with Herceptin"
Editor Maniula Przekora (Dakar) - for a series of portraits of the Masters of Medicine
*Drawing made in 1856 by British T.G. Montgomerie of the Survey of India, who measured for the first time the height of the K2 peak, which is 8611 m.a.s.l.( https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/K2)
